I am NOT a computer wiz!!!!!

I know it might be weird but I like to change the look of my page! I like to change the layout because there are so many really cute ones available! My only problem is I can't seem to figure out how to change it without deleting all my widgets. I DO have some idea what a widget is but when it's in HTML form it all looks like a bunch of letters thrown together. So until I make Kojak figure it out for me I guess I'll keep re-adding all my page elements (widgets). Good thing I only have a few! So just in case anybody knows what I'm talking about and think you might be able to help me....I'm all ears!
